I feel asleep reading last night. And when I say fell asleep I mean that I nodded off and hit myself in the face with my iPad which woke me up. No Bueno...
I'd like to take the time to acknowledge the person(s) that pick up my phone at work at take pictures. Yeah, I lock my phone so no one can look through it but my camera is still accessible from my home screen. No names need to be revealed. The pictures speak for themselves.
Doesn't there seem to be a reoccurring theme here? Hmmm...
Anyhoo... I finally got my greedy paws on my long awaited fall time treat.
That's right people, they exist, and they are scrumptious. I have only been able to find them in one store in Las Vegas and believe me, I was on the look out.
Chris celebrated his birthday last weekend. His 30th to be exact and he finally got a dirt bike.
He's been wanting one for a while and he did a ton of research and looking before he decided to get this one. We were planning on taking it out to the desert last weekend but we had to take an unexpected trip out of town. While the circumstances were unfortunate the scenery was absolutely beautiful.
We pulled over after we went over the Hoover Damn and I took this picture. I thought the sunset looked really pretty at this point.
Once we got back into the car and started driving again that beautiful sunset then turned even more amazing. One thing my mom always said growing up was to always appreciate the sunsets because you never know when the last time you get to look at one will be. They really are an example of how stunning the world around us can be.
So we're on the road, south of Flagstaff, Az and I'm reading on my iPad while Chris is driving. I'm not really paying attention until I hear Chris go "Woah!" I look over and he has this weird look on his face. He then tells me "Uhh, I hit a bird." We're on the freeway and apparently the bird flew in front of the car. I think "Oh well, one less bird in the world." (I have an irrational fear of birds.) I completely forget about it until we get to our destination and someone says "So, you hit Tweety?" Which I find odd because this person literally just walked in the house. My reply "Yeah, did Chris text you?"
NOPE!
THE BIRD WAS STUCK TO THE FRONT OF MY FREAKING CAR!!!
I flipped out immediately and after some fun at my expense, Chris went and disposed of the dead bird.
We ended up staying the weekend in Sedona and it was gorgeous there.
So pretty.
We went out for breakfast one morning and someone ordered a cinnamon roll. The thing was huge. And super yummy. I just had a bite though because my omelet was awesome.
Soo, what else is new?
Chris and I got a 1000 piece puzzle of Noah's Ark at Costco. We had it done in 4 days. It was nice to do something together in the evenings other then watch TV. We have another one of New York City to do. We will probably start that one next week.
I hope everyone is having a great week. Comment down below and let me know what your weekend plans are.
