My Zpalette finally came in the mail and I couldn't wait to open it and figure out what to keep in it I went with the hot pink large palette. The way that I organized it I am able to fit 20 MAC eye shadows and 3 MAC blushes.
This is an overview of what the palette looks like.
After I got the colors organized I used Word to make a template.
I tend to lean towards pretty neutral colors.
There are a couple of colors that I wear by themselves.
Naked Lunch- I like to wear a colorful eye liner with this shadow. Either navy or purple.
Mulch- I like to wear black liner with this shadow.
Woodwinked- I wear this with brown liner.
Post Haste- I like to run this over my black liner with Naked Lunch on the lid.
Patina- This shadow works well with brown or black liner.
I also organized this palette so that I can do a couple of different smokey eye looks. I always use MAC Paintpot in Nubile to prime my eyelids.
Number 1- Dark, Night Time Smokey Eye
I apply Shroom to the inner corner of my eye and under my brow bone.
I apply Naked Lunch to the center of my lid.
I apply Wedge above my crease as my transition color.
I apply Swiss Chocolate to the crease.
As well as Sable. I like the way that these colors blend together in the crease.
I use Sketch in the small section of the outer V of my lid.
I apply black pencil liner to the top lash line and set it with Black Tied halfway across.
I set the outer half and bottom lash line with Beauty Marked shadow.
Don't forget the mascara for any of these looks either...
Number 2- Quick, Casual Smokey Eye
Again I apply Shroom to the inner corner and brow bone.
Apply Naked Lunch to the lid.
I run Soft Brown above my crease as the transition shade.
I use Blackberry in the crease.
I use Folie in the outer v.
I line my eyes with black pencil liner and smudge it out with Carbon shadow.
Number 3- Bluish Grey Smokey Eye
Shroom in the inner corner and on the brow bone.
Naked Lunch on the lid.
Soba above the crease as the transition shade.
Print in the crease.
Satin Taupe on top of Print in the crease also.
Concrete in the outer v.
And carbon on top of black pencil liner.
And I chose 3 blushes to put in the palette. All of these blushes are very blendable and easy to build up if you feel more color is necessary,
